Mind Source leads the government's goal for gender equality in leadership positions.

Our policy of promoting gender equality aims to ensure equal opportunities, benefits, and responsibilities for all employees.

The Brazilian government has committed to reaching a level of 33% women in management positions by 2020 (in publicly traded companies, public sector companies, and direct and indirect state administration and other public legal entities). Mind Source currently presents an equal gender distribution in management positions: 50% of the company's management roles are held by women.

Among the company's employees, women represent 35% of the total, a significant number considering that Mind Source operates in the information and communication technology sector, an area that has been characterized for so many years by a strong male presence. In this field, Mind Source promotes gender equality by adopting approaches that focus on combating inequalities and wage disparities, combating occupational segregation, supporting parenthood and work-life balance, and, as mentioned, parity in decision-making positions.

To guarantee this parity and equality policy, Mind Source's approach is based on a code of ethics and conduct that does not allow harassment or discrimination in the workplace. Applied to Human Resources, this approach ensures that recruitment opportunities also do not discriminate based on gender and that this argument is never a factor in the selection of candidates. Career progression is equal for both sexes, and remuneration levels are defined according to experience and seniority levels and are equivalent for both sexes, eliminating the gender pay gap.

Ana Candeias, Business Director at Mind Source, explains that “Mind Source's promotion of gender equality is an argument that not only allows the company to fulfill one of the fairest national objectives, but also distinguishes it as an organization that chooses meritocracy as the cornerstone of its human resources policy, talent retention, and career progression, without considering elements such as gender. In this company, women and men have the same responsibilities, the same privileges, the same opportunities, and the same remuneration.”

Rui Reis, CEO of Mind Source, states that "the fact that Mind Source is ahead of the target set by the Government is not an objective set by the company, but happens naturally with the application of the equality policies that the company promotes." He also assures that "Mind Source adopts approaches of equal opportunities and remuneration between its male and female employees – an argument deeply rooted in our DNA and which we do not give up."

Mind Source has been recognized for the 10th consecutive year as one of the Best Portuguese Companies to Work for in Portugal, by Great Place to Work®, the global authority for building, sustaining and recognizing high-trust, high-performance workplace cultures.
